We would like to inform you that Moxa is making changes to the UC-8410A Series of Arm-based computers.
These changes were implemented April 8, 2024.
Please review the details below to determine how these changes will affect your products and/or operations.
What changed?
Hardware
- Upgraded hardware from V2.1.0 to V2.2.0
- Changed USB2.0 Hub due to material shortage
- Implemented a second source DDR3L as a Micron alternative.
- Implement a second source NAND Flash eMMC as a Micron alternative.
Operating System
- IMG UC-8410A Linux Debian 8: Upgraded IMG from V3.2 to V3.3
- IMG UC-8410A (deb9) MIL1: Upgraded IMG from V4.2.2 to V4.2.6
- The UC-8410A Series has adopted a second source of DDR3L and NAND FLASH eMMC as
alternative Micron components,
which results in corresponding adjustments to the IMG.
Bootloader
- BIOS UC-8410A Linux Debian 8: Upgraded BIOS from V2.3 to V2.4
- BIOS UC-8410A (deb9) MIL1: Upgraded BIOS from V2.3 to V2.4
- UC-8410A Series has adopted a second source of DDR3L and NAND FLASH eMMC as
alternative Micron components,
which results in corresponding adjustments to the BIOS.

Note: Product Revision is the Rev. number printed on the sticker of a Moxa Arm-based computer.
When will the new versions be available?
The updated versions of the UC-8410A Series computers will be available for order starting August 15, 2024.
Orders placed on or after this date will automatically include the new enhancements.
